BUGGIN’ OUT FOR PIZZA (OTE: $84,000 - $117,000)



In 1960, two brothers named Tom and James bought a small pizza shop in Ypsilanti, Michigan for $1,400. They put $500 cash down and took out a bank loan for the remaining $900.


The brothers planned to share the work at the pizza shop evenly, but James found that didn't suit him as he had a full-time job as a postman with a stable salary, benefits, and a pension.


He couldn't give that up for a small pizza restaurant!


As the small pizzeria approached its first anniversary, James approached Tom with a proposal. He offered to sell his 50% stake in the restaurant to Tom in exchange for the company's biggest non-pizza asset – a used 1959 Volkswagen Bug.


In 1965, Tom purchased two more pizzerias in the same county.

By the time their 10th anniversary rolled around – there were 200 locations.

Long story short, over the next 33 years the restaurants remained 100% privately-owned by Tom and expanded to more than 1,500 locations – worldwide.


In 1998, Tom Monaghan sold 93% of Domino's Pizza to a private equity firm for $1 billion dollars (nearly $2 billion in 2024 value).


What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

That said, now that we have your attention, our client is looking for a talented Sales Executive to join their team in Southwestern Ontario.!


SUMMARY:

 

Our client, a top provider of battery and energy solutions, has partnered with Match and Fable in their search for a Sales Executive to join their team in Southwestern Ontario.


Based from a home office, the Sales Executive will oversee a territory encompassing Kitchener/Waterloo, London, Windsor, and Sarnia. This role requires a proactive individual capable of building client trust by being responsive and providing value-driven solutions.


The successful candidate will generate sales by expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new strategic accounts.


POSITION:    SALES EXECUTIVE

INDUSTRY:   INDUSTRIAL SALES

TERRITORY:  K/W + LONDON + WINDSOR + SARNIA


RESPONSIBILITIES:


·       Manage the Southwestern Ontario region (Kitchener to London to Windsor to Sarnia) and build relationships with local and national accounts.

·       Engage with end-users to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

·       Drive sales growth by maintaining existing customers and actively pursuing new business opportunities.

·       Review reports to identify potential sales and service opportunities.

·       Support the delivery and setup of new products for customers, ensuring a seamless experience.

·       Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and deliver high-quality service.

·       Maintain a dynamic sales pipeline and utilize CRM tools to track opportunities and progress.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·       ~5+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably in the industrial or equipment sectors.

·       Consultative sales approach, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-volume customer requirement

·       Excellent relationship-building skills, focusing on long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales.

 

REMUNERATION:

 

BASE SALARY: $69,000 – $72,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $15,000 – $45,000 (uncapped)

ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $84,000 – $117,000

OTHER: car allowance + gas card + benefits + rrsp + vacation
