RUDE AWAKENING (OTE: $80,500 - $92,000+)



 In March 2012, a 22-year-old named Simon Rosenqvist was wheeled into an operating room in Sweden, poised for a routine lung procedure expected to last 50 minutes. The operation was considered rather straightforward.

But as the clock ticked on, a shocking twist loomed. 15 minutes into the surgery, something went terribly wrong: Simon’s anesthesia began wearing off – while the medical staff remained completely unaware.

What followed was nothing short of a nightmare. Paralyzed and unable to move, Simon was forced to endure the excruciating pain of the remaining 35 minutes of the operation in sheer agony.

When the procedure finally ended and the sedatives wore off, Simon’s first words were a piercing cry: “What the hell have you done?” Initially met with disbelief, his claims soon proved startlingly credible. Not only could Simon recount every detail of the ordeal with harrowing precision, but he also identified each doctor involved, leaving the medical team in stunned silence. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

Not much really.

That said, now that we have your attention, our client is looking for a talented Account Executive to join their team and deliver a rude awakening to their competition!

SUMMARY:

 

The Account Executive (working from a home office with a company vehicle and gas card), will manage a geographic territory using a structured sales process. This role requires quickly building strong client relationships and delivering value-based solutions. The Account Executive will handle approximately 100 OEM auto dealership clients, ranging from minimal to exclusive business relationships. Responsibilities include nurturing existing business and developing strategies to secure new revenue. Sales will be generated through expanding current client opportunities and acquiring new strategic accounts.

POSITION: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

INDUSTRY: AUTOMOTIVE TERRITORY: LONDON + WINDSOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Build genuine relationships and loyalty with every client in your designated territory via regular sales calls.

·       Call on Parts Advisors, Parts Managers and Service Advisors at Auto Dealerships located in your territory.

·       Manage and grow business with ~100 accounts via regular sales calls (~15 – 20 per week).

·       ~60% of the role involves dealing with current clientele to increase share of wallet spend.

·       ~40% of the role involves targeting strategic accounts to win their business from the competition.

·       Develop transactional customers into loyal clients and lift loyal relationships to trusted advisor status.

·       Know your territory intimately … + develop multiple relationships (deep, high and wide) with every client.

·       Implement a business plan (and action that plan) using CRM + other company tools.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·       MUST HAVE: 3+ years sales experience, in a similar role.

·       Post-secondary education.

·       Clear understanding of the sales process.

·       Proficiency in dealing with client contacts at various levels and navigating past gatekeepers.

·       An internally driven, consultative & collaborative professional who is a strong presenter and great listener.

·       Strong capacity to identify client needs and apply products or services, as appropriate.

 

REMUNERATION:

 

BASE SALARY: $70,000 – $80,000 ON-TARGET VARIABLE: (15% of base) $10,500 – $12,000 (uncapped)

ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $80,500 – $92,000 (uncapped) OTHER: benefits + vehicle + gas card + work from home flexibility
